We care that each process in their upbringing is as professional as possible, with the maximum of available technologies, as well as that these are in a suitable space for their growth. Thanks to this, our sheep reward us with the best natural fiber available on the market, Italian Style type Merino wool.
For years, the best tailors have chosen wool fabrics to make garments, and some of the best suits are made from Merino wool. Nowadays tailors have evolved and are looking for very particular high quality wool.
This is exactly the wool that our sheep produce, Superfine Italian Style Merino wool, that is, a super fine Merino wool, characterized by its fine high frequency crimp.
In addition, our wool has pure white colors, high levels of washing performance and does not itch thanks to its comfort factor close to 100%, and also offers a very good resistance to traction, favoring operational continuity in the production of fabrics.

We are constantly concerned that our sheep have an environment free of diseases and possible predators.
Our sheep enjoy a good life in our establishments on all seasons of the year thanks to a very good coat in winter and wide spaces in summer.
1) Since the beginning of our La Santigna stud project, we have been concerned about the care and well-being of our sheep, letting them live in a stress-free environment.
We are sure that a healthy coexistence is essential for the development of their upbringing. This is why our main philosophy is to give as much freedom as possible, so that they are in contact with nature and enjoy healthy and happy growth.
As a result, we have been rewarded with their nobility, giving us one of the best wool in the world, Italian Style Merino wool. The final product that our sheep offer us is very valuable and cared for by our family, generation after generation.
2) Since the beginning of La Santigna, our family is clear that the fundamental pillar is the freedom of our sheep. Our fields provide the freedom of space that they require for their ideal development, in the different stages of their life.

6) Throughout their growth, we are constantly providing the adequate support that our flock requires. We are concerned that the pastures where they live have adequate food and water conditions, as well as shelter in the winter, protecting themselves from possible frosts.
7) Our staff is trained and committed to perform professional sanitation procedures in our flock which do not imply stress or pain to our sheep. We use the latest technological techniques, so that this is carried out in the most passive way possible. This is why we leave our sheep as much as possible in their paddocks, without constant intervention, so that they can function as naturally as possible between them and their environment.
